Mental Health Day at the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning

October 10th, 2023, is World Mental Health Day. On this day, the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning offers a variety of impulses on the topic of mental health.

[Translate to English:]

The topic of mental health is becoming increasingly important in the modern working world. There are many reasons for this, whether it is the rise in stress factors at work or recent crises such as the coronavirus pandemic.

The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning stands for scientifically based, future-oriented, and sustainable further education. That is why we have created a day of action on this significant topic on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day on October 10.

In order to maintain and promote the mental health and work ability of employees, it is important to focus not only on mental disorders but also on resources and strategies to promote mental health.

On Mental Health Day, we would like to raise awareness of the importance of mental health. On the other hand, we would like to provide TUM employees with valuable impulses within the framework of various virtual short lectures and workshops, with the aim of strengthening their own resources and developing beneficial strategies.

Information about the courses

To make participation as accessible as possible to a broad target audience, all courses take place online and are limited to a duration of 90 minutes. This means that they can be easily integrated into everyday work schedules. The program also includes English- and German-language courses to make participation possible for our international colleagues.

Please note that the courses are conducted either in German or English. You will find information about the course language in the course description.
