Now ready for use: Microsoft Exchange 2010

The setup is simple: After successful login at TUMonline, click on the point "TUM mailbox (exchange)" on your personal business card under e-mail addresses.

Exchange 2010 offers a professional and sustainable backup system and is constantly updated to the latest security standard. On the client side, it is open to all systems. The mailboxes can be managed via POP/IMAP with Outlook and other e-mail clients like Thunderbird. For web access, the full functionality of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari are also available.

E-mails accessable with mobile devices

E-mails can also be accessed with mobile devices (iPhone/Nokia/Blackberry). In addition to the traditional e-mail service, Exchange 2010 also offers various groupware functions such as the use of personal and shared calendars, a task manager and address books.
