WAVE, the world's largest electric vehicle rallye visits TUM

June 2, Campus Garching: Electromobility Day

Monday, June 2, features the first Electromobility Day of TUM's Munich School of Engineering. Highlight is the visit of the "WAVE" - the world's largest electric vehicle rallye with 80 e-cars. The exhibition takes place in the Mathematics/Informatics building.

All together the WAVE (World Advanced Vehicle Expedition) brings 80 electrical vehicles of all kinds to Garching. The first cars will arrive Sunday evening and will be charged over night.

The exhibition, organized by TUM's Munich School of Engineering, features the TUM Science Center for Electromobility, research partners and TUM spin-offs which are active in the field of electromobility as well as student projects such as TUfast, eCARus and many more.

11.00 Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management: Battery-Production

(start: at the exhibition)

Charging points: in front of the Mathematics/Informatics building, around the IMETUM and in front of the faculty of mechanical engineering.
