For EDU and BGU:

A mother-child-room in the Marsstraße

Many parents know the situation of not being able to find adequate childcare when wanting to attend a lecture – and it would be difficult to take the child along. The TUM School of Education has now set up a nursery in the Marsstraße. It can be used by members of the faculties of the EDU and the BGU.

The room can be used as resting place for expectant and nursing mothers or for as a common room for parents and their children: as a working space where the parent can work while the child plays on its own, for example. It can even be used as a meeting room to talk to a few colleagues or fellow students or simply as a playroom to pass time. You can even stay while the professional staff takes care of the children.

The nursery offers a range of care services that can be arranged individually. The care services are provided in cooperation with the agency “Rund-um-die-Familie” (RUF) which can hook you up with qualified caretakers (inquiries must be made at least one day in advance).

Location: Marsstraße 20, Room 427 (4th floor)
