Academicus 2016:
Your idea – your TUM
In the scope of the Academicus, TUM would like to invite everyone to make suggestions on how to improve teaching and learning. The ideas competition is open to all students, staff, researchers and alumni of TUM. A jury will decide on the most promising concepts. The winners will be rewarded with the Academicus prize and a prize money of 500 Euros during the celebration of the traditional university holiday, the Dies Academicus, in December.
What kind of ideas are wanted?
The suggestions should be beneficial for as many members of TUM as possible. Apart from that, there are no restrictions. Any idea – technical, social, or simply creative – is welcome and will be checked for implementability. The website www.tum.de/ideenwettbewerb lists concepts that have been awarded in the scope of the Academicus in the past.
How are the winners selected?
We will collect your ideas and suggestions until June 30, 2016. Then we will discuss the concepts with the different departments to see what can be implemented. Finally, a jury will select the most promising submissions. The winners will be notified in November, and then be honored with the Academicus 2016 during the “Academicus”-ceremony.
