MaiTUM 2018

A Ferris wheel in Garching

The student representation has been organizing May celebrations at TUM since 2015. This year, the event will take place on two days, May 3 and 4. The organizers are especially proud of the new highlight of the MaiTU festival: a Ferris wheel.

In addition to the obligatory maypole, there will also be a marquee, a brass band, a “Wiesnband”, and Bavarian food.

This year, MaiTUM will take place at a new location: at campus Garching, in the scope of the celebration of the TUM’s 150th anniversary. The event will definitely be worthwhile, as – thanks to the support of the TUM Board of Management – there will be a bigger tent, a large beer garden, and a unique view from the Ferris wheel, across the campus and all of Munich.

MaiTUM is organized on a voluntary basis, supported by many volunteers who are rewarded with free meals and small gifts. Every helping hand is welcome. You can register at www.helfen.fs.tum.de
