Learning online– reading online: e-books at the TUM

Due to the Corona Pandemic, the 2020 summer semester will take place primarily online. To ensure that you can continue your studies without interruption, the TUM is relying heavily on digital teaching.

To support this, the University Library is expanding its range of electronic media, especially e-books.

Therefore, whenever a corresponding publishing offer exists, the library acquires e-books. So far, it has licensed over 160,000 titles. These can be found in the online catalogue OPAC. If you authenticate yourself via eAccess with your TUM ID, you can access e-books directly.

If you do not find the book title you are looking for in the OPAC, do not hesitate to make an acquisition proposal. As soon as the book is available at the TUM – for e-books this could be the case within a few days – you will be notified by the University Library.
