Agriculture 2050: Experts discuss prospects

Providing food for 10 billion people despite advancing climate change and scarce production areas is the challenge agriculture is facing until 2050. As a new series of events at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the Weihenstephan Forum on the Future of Agricultural Policy will discuss how the framework conditions can be set.

Drone picture of research brewery Weihenstephan at TUM Campus Freising — At the Weihenstephan Forum on the Future of Agricultural Policy, leading figures from science, politics and practice will discuss challenges agriculture and agricultural policy are facing at regular events in the future.

Bavarian Minister of Agriculture, Michaela Kaniber, as well as researchers and representatives from agricultural and environmental associations will present their views and ideas on agriculture in Bavaria. In six keynote speeches, they will present their ideas on the future of Bavarian agriculture.
