Global Dialogues for smart and intelligent cities

This year's program of the TUM Global Dialogue Series also includes the TUM Mumbai Dialogue "An Indo-German initiative for smart cities - reducing transport externalities" on December 19, 2023 and the TUM Beijing Dialogue "Tsinghua-TUM Talks on intelligent cities" on December 20, 2023. All students who would like to participate in the exchange with TUM scientists and their international partners as well as social actors worldwide are cordially invited. Film series DIVERSITY 

In cooperation with the HFF Munich, the TUM Language Center is showing international films with German subtitles at the HFF cinema (Bernd-Eichinger-Platz 1, 80333 Munich). There will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards. Admission is free. Book Your Study Desk at the Library

Starting from January 15, 2024, TUM students can make online reservations for study desks at the Branch Library Main Campus. Additional spaces will continue to be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Online reservations across all branch libraries will soon be available. Currently, this service is already operational at the Branch Library Sport and Health Sciences: TUM Library study desks

Study abroad with Erasmus+

If you are interested in studying abroad in Europe, you can now find out about the partner universities and put together your documents. The application period for an Erasmus+ exchange place in the 2024/25 academic year runs until January 15, 2024. With the program, you receive financial support for your stay abroad and pay no tuition fees at the partner university. More info: TUM Erasmus studies

Strategy for your exam preparation

Are you running out of time and don't know how to start preparing? Do you have doubts as to whether you can pass all your exams? Is your inner tension increasing? A free webinar for TUM students from the Learning and Examination Coaching team will give you helpful tips on how to find a suitable strategy, reduce stress and prepare efficiently for your exams. Last Call for EuroTeQ course catalogue 2023/24

Take the opportunity to broaden your academic horizons by participating in EuroTeQ courses! There are still a few places available for selected courses in the upcoming summer semester 2024, including in the fields of computer science, mechanical engineering, entrepreneurship and sustainability. TUM Career Day in January 2024

The TUM Career Service actively supports you in all phases of your career. At the TUM Career Day on January 24, 2024 from 8:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., a whole day will be dedicated to your career with application workshops, CV checks, free application photos, speed dating with companies and an exchange of experiences with TUM Alumni in the Career Lounge. Global Minds: Applying abroad

How does the application process work at a foreign university or in a foreign company and what experiences will you have there? The "Global Minds" seminars, organized by the TUM Global & Alumni Office in cooperation with the TUM Language Center, offer an insight into living and working in cultures that you think you know from afar, but which are sure to hold surprises when you get there. Study in Europe for a week

The ATHENS programme enables you to spend a short stay at one of 24 European partner universities. By attending one-week intensive courses and an accompanying European Dimension programme, you can get to know life, teaching and the mentality at a European host university and gain valuable experience abroad. The next ATHENS Week will take place from March 16 to 23, 2024. Applications are possible from the beginning of January 2024. More information: TUM Global Athens

Become a babysitter

Do you enjoy working with children and have good tips up your sleeve? Then join TUM4Kids. There are still places available for the next training courses on January 14 and 17, 2024. We are looking for committed babysitters and tutors who want to support TUM members in balancing work/studies and family life. Writing assistance in English and German

The TUM Language Center offers all TUM members various programmes to improve their writing skills in English and German. These include the English Writing Centre, German Writing Assistance and Interactive Editing. More info: TUM Language Center Writing Assistance
