Erde, Feuer, Wasser, Luft #3
Tales for our planet: Lukas Bärfuss meets A.L. Kennedy
The balance of the elements has been disturbed. Two hundred years of industrial influences have changed the earth’s ecosystems. Every day we lose life, habitats, opportunities for the future. How can we mourn our losses? How can we cope with the changes? And look to the future with confidence?
For the third time, Lukas Bärfuss invites an outstanding personality to talk about the future of our planet: The award-winning Scottish author A. L. Kennedy is one of the most important contemporary British authors.
In conversation with Lukas Bärfuss, she will discuss her early text “On Bullfighting” (2001) and the murderous relationship between humans and animals. Here, von Kennedy tells of bulls and breeders, toreros and their audience, of rules, tricks and risks, of the fascination, horror and sexual pull of a murderous battle for existence between animals and humans.
Tickets: 5€ for TUM students – evening box office or online (MK: Mach mit-Ticket - select via ‘Bestplatzsuche’ / Price Categories’)
