A whole day and night dedicated to doctoral candidates: On 27 September, the TUM Graduate School and the TUM Graduate Council want to bring together the entire community of TUM doctoral candidates with the first university-wide “TUM Doctoral Day” at the TUM Campus Garching-Forschungszentrum. All TUM doctoral candidates are cordially invited to a colorful program with interactive workshops, an inspiring keynote, and a panel discussion. In the evening, look forward to TUMblue, the legendary networking event for doctoral candidates.
The TUM Doctoral Day (2:00-6:00 p.m.) provides valuable insights into the many different paths, opportunities, and topics of interest to doctoral candidates. After an opening keynote by Prof. Dr. Alena Buyx on science communication, there will be opportunities to network, compact workshops for a successful doctorate, and a panel discussion on various career paths after the doctorate.
TUMblue (6:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.) celebrates our doctoral candidates. Under the motto "Let your research glow!" the Graduate Council organizes a rich program that includes live music and a DJ set. Free food and drinks will also be served.
Any number of program slots can be booked when registering via DocGS.
