TUM's students and staff are called to vote

University elections on June 7th

This year’s university elections will be held on June 7th, 2016. Called to vote in this election are students and staff of the entire university, if they are entitled to vote.

Election date

Tuesday, June 7th, 2016, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Which posts are up for election?

  • Representatives of professors, academic and non-academic staff as well as students in the TUM Senate and the Department Councils (Fakultätsräte) – Exception: For the Department Council of the TUM School of Education, only the posts of the student representatives are up for election.
  • Student representatives in all Departmental Student Councils (Fachschaftsvertretungen)
  • Representatives of professors, academic and non-academic staff as well as students in the Department Councils of the Study Program Devisions (Studienfakultäten) – Exception: At Munich School of Engineering, only student representatives are elected.
  • Deans of the following departments: TUM School of Management, Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Sports and Health Sciences, TUM School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan as well as Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering
  • Directors of the Research Departments at the TUM School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan (exception: Agricultural Economics)
