Well begun is half done: Students learn the basics of library use and literature research in our "Get Ready for Your Studies - Introductory Library  Course".

"Get Ready for Your Degree - Advanced Library Course": Before you can write a bachelor's or master's thesis, it is necessary to find, obtain and edit the latest literature on a certain topic. This does not present a problem to anyone who sets up a search strategy and is able to order the selected literature in a fast, convenient manner. The 2-hour course covers all the important aspects of proper citations. Participants will be well prepared for their final paper.

Typing is old hat! The University Library offers a beginners course on the reference management tools Citavi and EndNote - for all students who don’t want to type up any more literature references. Both software programs can be used as on-campus licenses.
