Interested in the biological basis of sustainable and efficient crop and livestock production? Join the international Masters’ Program Agricultural Biosciences – a unique, interdisciplinary study program. Acquire excellent knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics and genomics as well as statistical computing and data analysis skills.
The master's degree program in Biology allows you to specialize in at least 3 of the 7 possible focus areas: Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Genetics, Medical Biology, Microbiology, Ecology, Zoology/Animal Sciences and Plant Sciences.
You have the option to develop one of your focus areas into a primary focus.
The master's degree program in Biochemistry offers a wide choice of possible minors in chemistry and biology. This in turn allows you to create your individual profile at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine.
The master's degree program in bioinformatics is offered jointly by TUM and Ludwigs-Maximilians-University (LMU). It combines molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics with theoretical as well as applied computer sciences and computer linguistics.
The master's degree program in Biomass Technology is a joint degree with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. It offers a comprehensive training in utilizing and harnessing the potentials of biomass.
The master's degree program in Biomedical Computing (BMC) combines computer science with biology and medicine. It aims to enhance medical diagnostic and treatment methods by developing innovative software solutions and imaging techniques.
The Elite-Master program Biomedical Neuroscience offers an excellent scientific training to get a top-level understanding of neuroscience theory and practice, as well as on neuro-psychiatric disorders. It is centered on molecular neurobiology and genetics, cellular and systemic neurobiology, methods of neuroscientific research and mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disorders.

The master's program in Molecular Biotechnology is devoted to the production and construction of natural as well as artificial biomolecules. It is based on the 5 pillars Biomolecules, Cells, Organisms, Medicine and Technology.
The international Master’s program Nutrition and Biomedicine combines human biology, nutritional science and medicine. Its interdisciplinary approach focuses on innovative solutions to current issues in modern nutrition and biomedicine.
Given its interdisciplinary orientation, the master's program in Pharmaceutical Bioprocess Engineering is unique in Germany. The program is founded upon engineering, the natural sciences and economics, as they relate to innovative biopharmaceutical technology.
Radiation biology has undergone a shift away from biophysical models of radiation interaction with DNA in the last decade, and is now more closely allied with molecular studies. In this interdisciplinary MSc program, the medical uses of radiation, as well as the broad societal and political implications of radiation, will be at the forefront of our teaching.
