Innovative teaching formats, new didactic concepts or approaches to support students' academic success: Here you will find current calls for entries and competitions in which TUM teaching staff can participate with their ideas for studies and teaching.
The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe BAYHOST supports international academic projects of Bavarian universities in cooperation with partners in Eastern Europe. The aim of this program is to pave the way for continued cooperation in research and teaching, both in terms of content and with regard to later acquisition of third-party funding.
Support is provided, for example, for conferences or project meetings, tandem projects, block seminars, excursions or summer schools.
The maximum funding amount is 5,000 euros. Applications can be submitted until July 17, 2023.

The DAAD's STIBET I program promotes general and subject-related support measures as well as the creation of hospitable and performance-enhancing conditions for international students and doctoral candidates.
In addition, the DAAD Award is given to outstanding students or doctoral candidates who have distinguished themselves through special academic achievements and remarkable social or intercultural commitment.
With the “Stipendium für mehr Chancengerechtigkeit”, a new funding category was created to support students and doctoral candidates with special challenges, for example, due to a refugee background or a special family care situation.
Eligible to apply are state and state-recognized German universities with at least 10 enrolled foreign students.
Applications can be submitted until September 7, 2023.

The Bavarian-Czech Higher Education Agency BTHA offers various funding programs to support bilateral summer and winter schools and Bavarian-Czech academic projects as well as mobility grants for study, lecture and research trips to the Czech Republic.
Project-related funding for bilateral cooperation with their partners at universities and research institutions in the Czech Republic can be applied for by all teachers and researchers at state and state-supported Bavarian higher education institutions. Applications can be submitted at any time.
