International Entrepreneurship Programs at TUM
Global DeepTech Venture Initiative
Autumn 2020 the TUM launches the Global Deep Tech Venture (GDTV) initiative in cooperation with UnternehmerTUM GmbH. The program gives international start-ups with focus on AI, Robotics, Additive Manufacturing and Sustainable Mobility & Intelligent Transportation from all over the world, the unique opportunity to settle in the German high-tech metropolis with the help of an experienced expert network. Participants benefit from exclusive individual consulting sessions, access to experts, educational workshops and networking events.

US Venture Program
On October 8th, 2018 the pilot programme in Silicon Valley starts for 10 of the best TUM Entrepreneurs. 2 team members of 5 Startups take part in different Workshops, face2face pitch trainings and also get the chance to meet Entrepreneurs, visit companies and exchange experiences with Mentors and Experts.

European Venture Program
The European Venture Program of the EuroTech Universities offers 20 start-ups a diverse program at four universities in Europe. In 12 days all participants travel to Munich, Lausanne, Copenhagen and Eindhoven. The teams receive exclusive access to all ecosystems, contact to the local networks and various workshops.

Climate-KIC – The Journey
The „Journey“ is the world`s largest summer school on climate change/climate innovation and entrepreneurship. Since 2013 the Technical University Munich is organizing one Climate-KIC Journey per year. The Climate KIC is one of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC) established by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The participation is free of charge for TUM students. The application will open in spring 2019.

Global Food Venture Programme
EIT Food’s Global Food Venture (GFV) programme supports highly-motivated PhD students from across Europe to turn their innovative ideas into successful business propositions in food and agriculture. The programme educates upcoming innovators in the area of entrepreneurship and business creation. The PhD students leverage the knowledge and expertise of a diverse consortium of EIT Food partners and benefit greatly from a virtual mentoring scheme.
