First place in film competition thanks to great support in public voting

Best image film of the Munich Metropolitan Region

The video portrait of the Technical University Munich (TUM) "150 years culture of excellence" is image film of the year of the Munich Metropolitan Region. Director Dr. Clarissa Ruge and Chancellor Albert Berger received the award yesterday at the Sendlinger Tor Film Theatre.

The video portrait "150 years of culture of excellence" shows the success story of TUM – from Nobel Prizes to student initiatives such as the TUfast Eco Team.

A jury selected the ten best films in each of two categories from over 100 submissions. The final decision was made in the public voting, in which TUM's image film was selected as winner in the category "Company / Institution". 

The film was produced as part of TUM's 150th anniversary celebrations in 2018 and shows some of the university's greatest achievements in research, teaching and entrepreneurship.
