Can Alzheimer's ever be cured? How can we reduce the risk of a stroke? And can damaged nerve cells be repaired? Immerse yourself in the world of nerve-strong research and learn more about neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and stroke. The researchers from the SyNergy Cluster of Excellence will offer insightful insights into their research and methods, share the latest findings and give you the opportunity to ask lots of questions. Be part of it!

Neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis and stroke are becoming increasingly common - especially in our ageing society, more and more people are affected. The Cluster of Excellence "SyNergy" (Munich Cluster for Systems Neurology) is researching how these complex neurological diseases develop. Although the symptoms of these diseases differ significantly from one another, common mechanisms play a role in their development and progression. The aim of our research is to develop approaches for new therapies by comparing the disease mechanisms.

The event is free of charge. Please register by sending a short e-mail stating the number of people: eventspam prevention@synergy-munich.de.
