Application for Degree Programs with DoSV
The Dialogue-Oriented Service Procedure of the Trust for Admission to Higher Education (Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung) coordinates the registration and application for degree programs with restricted admission (Numerus Clausus).
What is the DoSV?
If you wish to apply for a degree program with restricted admission (Numerus Clausus), the process of application and admission is coordinated via this procedure.
This centralized procedure allows for more transparency and gives you a chance to directly compare your chances of admission to the degree programs of different universities.
For more information, please visit the application portal hochschulstart.de.
How does the application work?
Before applying via TUMonline, you need to register with the application portal www.hochschulstart.de. After your registration is complete, you will be given a BID-Number and a BAN-Number. You need these numbers for your application for the degree program via TUMonline.
Due to the postponement of the Abitur examinations in many German states, the application period for programs with DoSV is also postponed for the winter semester 2020/21. The exact application period has not yet been fixed, we currently expect the application to start on July 1, 2020. Further information will follow.
